Adding music to poetry is a very interesting concept: How to present the poem in a musical style that captures the essence of the poem itself?
One of my friend Riina's poems, "MOTHER MARY – Joy of Birth", from her book of poetry, Spirit Verses, is about the Mother Mary sharing the joys of motherhood with the children and expectant mothers.
The music needed to match the feeling of the words: an expressive harp, Middle Eastern percussion, and a double-reed woodwind.
