A little note about the album graphics:
I had the great privilege of working at xAI as a consultant, programming specialist, and tutor on Grok 3, Grok 3.5, and Grok 4. The groundbreaking work we did, especially in graphics, cinematography, and voice, is evident in the amazing results we see today.

Thank you,  Elon Musk. You developed another palette for the artist to use.


The image on the home page is a real photo from my farm in New Zealand. I was on that side of the planet for 22 years.

Q: Where does the name "Dr Ziw" come from?

A: I was bestowed this moniker after debugging a problematic situation during a recording session that was preventing the session from proceeding.

The Solution: I plugged the main amp back into the wall, which had somehow gotten disconnected (Big-feet Larry,  I'm looking at you 🤨).

The name is a play on the word "wizard" backward. "Yer a backward wizard, Harry! 🪄" 

The name stuck. And when problems arose that people could not figure out, I started getting calls for "the Dr."

I once got an emergency call from a VP at Disney who was in an important meeting. The 3/4" video player was not working.

I walked into the room, promptly turned the tape machine on, and left just as quickly. I could hear the VP saying to his guests, "I hate it when he does that...
