In December of 1984, I did an atmospheric composition on the amazing Akai MG1212 analog 12-channel mixer and 12-track tape recorder. It used a proprietary 1/2-inch tape format using custom MK-20 cartridges that visually resembled video cassettes. It was WOW at the time. Lots of sonic anomalies and a very short recording time of 10 minutes, however. It didn't last.

 

I thought a Dance/EDM version of this song would be fun.
